    Kaushiki’s mother Smt. Chandana Chakrabarty, a disciple of Vidushi Meera Bandyopadhyay, a noted Classical vocalist of Patiyala Gharana, initiated Kaushiki to the world of Indian music. From the affectionate lullaby to the stringent Taalim, she has been one of the greatest inspirations in Kaushiki’s life.

    The most eminent and respected legend of Patiyala Gharana Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty has been Kaushiki’s father, Guru and the greatest inspiration for her to follow the musical path to excellence. His musical understanding, depth, realization, execution, vision has helped the musical growth of Kaushiki to become the musician that she is where she is considered to be the torch bearer of her father’s and family’s musical legacy.

  • Guru Jnan Prakash Ghosh

    Guru Jnan Prakash Ghosh is one of the greatest musical visionaries that India has ever produced.Kaushiki’s association with him started at a very early tender age, primarily as family, and later she was blessed to be accepted by Guru Jnan Prakash Ghosh as his youngest Ganda-bandh disciple. It was him, who instilled in Kaushiki the philosophical understanding of music and beyond and guided her towards musical enlightenment.

  • Dr. M Balmurali Krishna

    The living legend of Carnatic Classical music, Dr. M. Balmurali Krishna has very kindly imparted his musical brilliance to add different colour and experience in Kaushiki’s repertoire . Kaushiki has been learning Carnatic music from him since 2002.
